INGREDIENTS:
- 1.1kg of Urban Meat’s Chicken Wings
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- pinch of pepper and salt
- 1 pack Knorr Potato Flakes
- 1 pack Knorr Gravy Mix
Flour Mixture:
- 200g All-purpose flour
- 50g Cornstarch
- 15g Baking Powder
- 5g Salt
- 5g Pepper
- 1500 ml oil for deep frying
PROCEDURE:
1. In a bowl, make the brine by combining milk, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add in the chicken wings and soak for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
2. In another bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt and pepper.
3. Once ready to cook, heat oil to 350 degree Fahrenheit or 177 degree Celsius.
4. Remove the chicken from the brine and coat with flour mixture. Deep fry for 8 minutes. Serve with gravy and mashed potato.
